TROOPY OVERLAND BUILD

Here, stage by stage we will explain all details related to the design and build of our overlander Toyota Landcruiser 78,

We named it CHAAPAAR, which in Iranian/Persian language is name of a horseman and originally came from a postal service system created by Cyrus the great and developed by king Darrius as the very first method of communication and postal service region to region throughout entire Persia.

We have chosen this vehicle after lots of research to know what is the best reliable car for our traveling and at the same time proper size for making it as a full time living space,

We preferred to find 1HZ 6 Cyl strait Diesel motor which they are less sensitive to bad diesel quality and more trouble free based on their simplicity, but in this part of the world hard to find them and newer motors are only VDJ78 V8 Turbo Diesel, little more power, almost same consumption or even better, also less pollution, but little more sensitive to bad fuels.

Pls follow the design and build progress by each below separated stages and hope you would find some information helpful for your needs.

Cheers / Amir

Hello. I love your Troopy. I am unable to access all your topic about your build. I can only see the top one on the list. Am I doing something wrong?
    Cheers Murray.
